Last week I joined my friends Corey and Nicole on an outing to Art Omi in Ghent, NY. Just 20 minutes north of the fabulous town of Hudson, Art Omi is 120 acres of contemporary sculpture and architecture set in a gorgeous hilly landscape. In the off season (for wedding photographers) Corey organizes monthly outings to regional art institutions (there are so many to choose from around here!). We always bring cameras and these outings are time to practice new techniques, play with new gear or just cut loose and get creative. I shot a roll of film on this trip too, and will share on my film Instagram once they’re developed ;).

Being outside in nature is always a joy, but it was even better taking in all these imaginative works of art and with good friends. Thank you Corey Lynn Tucker for organizing this great day!
